Excellent opportunity project bike.

Greeves Griffon 380 rolling chassis fitted with a triumph T100r engine, when I acquired this about five years ago the frame was fitted with a triumph 3TA engine which was only part complete and worn out so I replaced this with a very nice 1970s T100 engine, the early 70s T100 was the best 500 unit engine Triumph made, roller bearing on the crank timing side instead of a bush, this is a very nice engine with excellent compression, I did a top end de-Coke, new rings, very nice gearbox, no damage whatsoever to the crank cases or alloy clutch case, cases were highly polished, this has sat in my workshop for about five years, it’s never been scrambled or used for racing, the engine was fitted to a road bike, It comes with a brand-new Wassel electronic ignition kit, needs fitting, oil lines from alloy tank need connecting to engine, various small jobs to be done but shouldn’t take someone with good knowledge to finish this bike in a couple of weeks, the previous owner did an excellent job with the engine mounts to enable fitting the triumph engine into the Greeves frame. It’s a very light weight bike and will be great fun to ride when it’s finished, recent ill health means that I no longer have the time or interest in finishing this project, this will be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys classic scrambles, trials, Hill climb and has the time and enthusiasm to work on this great project, all the original Greeves parts remain on this bike, Cerriani front forks, in excellent condition, no pitting with new seals fitted, original wheels and brake plates, chrome on the wheels is still in pretty good condition, some pitting or rust to the rear wheel, frame has been powder coated about four years ago brand-new exhaust pipes, it’s never been run or had oil or petrol put in it, rotor inspection cover is Included as is the points cover, see photos.
