A vibrant illustration painting of Indy Car racer Rick Mears in action by pin-up artist/illustrator Daniel Vancas. With pin-up influences of Alberto Vargas and Gil Elvgren, as well as social realist and modernist painters of the 1950's and 60's, Vancas' unique style perfectly captures the 4-time Indianapolis 500 winner and famed driver. Mixed media on art paper of 17" x 11". Signed by Vancas in the bottom right corner. In Excellent condition.
