Beautifully handcrafted Vintage, Mid-Century Modern (~1960’s) enameled copper plate by artist, Annemarie Davidson.


This 6-1/8” round plate features a white dove in-flight w/a holly & berry branch in its beak on a bright, sky blue background. The dove and holly design is symbolic of peace and joy.


Marked on the bottom within the enamel with Davidson's Initials “AD” (no sticker/label).

About the Artist:

“Annemarie Davidson (1920-2012) was a German-born American copper enamel artist. Davidson was known for her Southern Californian modernist freeform abstract copper enamels and was influenced by noted enamelists Curtis Tann, Doris Hall, and Mary Sharp. Davidson is responsible for some of the finest enamels in the second half of the 20th Century."
