You're bidding on "Map of the Adirondack Forest" - map consists of four large folding plates, each being 30" x 38" - published 1909 by the Forest, Fish and Game Commission, State of New York. Maps compile and overlay several categories of information including topography from the U.S. Geological Survey, the borders of the Adirondack Forest Park, and color-coded info on state lands and on other land use. Included is the original cloth covered, gilt stamped board binder. Note front and rear board each have a punched hole at the open-side edge, so there must have been a closure device of some sort that is no longer present.

NOTE some issues of condition - mainly maps are printed on thin paper, and difficult to fold and unfold - as a general condition issue, maps have tears/holes at some of the creasepoints, but minimal if any paper loss. Southwest quadrant map has two tears in the left margin area. There are a few other examples of edge crease tears throughout the set, but they are contained within the margin area. Some light soil along the crease lines in spots. SOLD AS IS AS FOUND.

That said, a scarce collection to find, and overall presentation is clean and appealing - please review photos carefully to make your own determination of condition and appeal, and don't hesitate to ask any questions prior to bidding - thanks for looking!
