A very unusual pair of Scottish solid sterling silver novelty lapel badges. They are hallmarked for Edinburgh 1972 with the makers marks being Shetland Silvercraft (now known as Shetland Jewellery). They have been interestingly designed being cast in the form of rock / gold nugget and mining hammer, they could also be associated with rock climbing or fossil hunting. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. They measures approx. 1 inch (2.6cm) across and together weigh 10 grams. A very nice quality unusual pair.
