  LOT vintage 1940s 20pc JOHN W GELWIX ART DRAWING WATERCOLOR CHALK man landscape

This lot has some dates from 1940 - 1944 listed on a few of the 20 pieces of art. There are some pencil drawings, some watercolor, some chalk or crayon. Many are sketches of a man, a few women, and some landscape watercolors. Size of the sketches and paintings range from approx. 10 x 7" to 18 x 12".

Some  of the sketches of the man are in his underwear or shorts. One of the drawings has the artist's name on the back written several times-John W. Gelwix.

The papers have some vintage wear, some small tears possible on edges, discoloration, foxing due to age. This is a group of assorted hand drawn pictures and watercolors seemingly by same person. See photos for more detail.
