Edwardian White Valenciennes Bobbin Lace Ruffle High Neck Cape Collar Blouse

This antique Edwardian era white Valenciennes bobbin lace ruffle high neck cape collar blouse dates from 1910. It is made of a sheer white cotton batiste lawn fabric with Valenciennes bobbin lace floral pattern trim inserts. This lovely lace shirtwaist blouse has a wide round lace ruffle cape flounce front, sheer lace high neck collar, cuffs, long full sleeves, a fitted lace ruffle peplum skirted bottom waistband with adjustable drawstring, mother of pearl button closures down the back and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 23 inches long, with a 40 inch chest, 26 inch waist, 21 inch long sleeves, 15 inch back and 13 inch neck. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique wearable art!
