Lionel Postwar 600 O27 Gauge Missouri Kansas Texas MKT Diesel Switcher Locomotive

This Locomotive came from my father's estate and has been tested and runs in both directions, but appears a little slow in reverse. I believe it is from the 1950's but can not confirm.
