This antique Victorian era cream brushed wool embroidered christening gown slip wrap dress dates from 1900. It is made of an off white ivory cream color soft brushed wool fabric with silk thread raised padded satin stitch hand embroidered scalloped polka dot edging and decorative branch like striped stitched details. This beautiful baby baptismal christening gown long slip wrap dress has a wrap around style with silk ribbon tie closures, is sleeveless with a single shoulder strap button and is unlined. The dress measures 37 inches long, with a 22 inch chest, 20 inch waist, 36 inch hips and 10 inch circumference arm holes. It is in good condition, with only one tiny moth hole and a few faint small stains. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana wearable art!
