Edwardian Titanic Era Goldenrod Cotton Ivory Lace Black Velvet Trim Belted Dress

This antique Edwardian Titanic era goldenrod cotton ivory lace black velvet trim belted dress dates from 1912. It is made of a mustard yellow gold goldenrod color cotton muslin fabric with ruched gathering trim edging, an off white ivory color sheer lace insert on the top and black velvet ribbon trim accents. This Titanic era summer dress has a long tea length style with a ruffle flounce over the shoulders shawl collar, scalloped lace trimmed neckline with black bows, an attached knotted black velvet ribbon belted waist with rosette trim on the back, 3/4 length sleeves, hook closures on the front and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 54 inches long, with a 34 inch chest, 22 inch waist, 40 inch hips and a 14 inch back. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned with a few faint small stains (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
