For sale here is a $500 Series 1934A
Federal Reserve Note issued by the Atlanta district #6. It is in above
average condition, with firm, VF quality paper. The paper is not bright
white, but the details are still sharp. There is no writing or scribbles
on the paper and no stains. There is a group of pinholes in the extreme
left and right ends near the margin that indicates that the note was
stapled while folded in half. There is also a minor bank stamp on the
left side near the top. This $500 bill will be very impressive indeed if
each of the issues were corrected by someone with the skill to do it.
Once the pinholes are filled in, the bank stamp lifted and the paper
returned to its original brightness, this bill be very impressive
indeed. Today, this nice looking lightly circulated $500 bill is for
sale here without reserve.
