This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. First appearing in the Seventies, E-Man was originally published by Charleton Comics, the bottom of the comics heap, the perennial poor cousin of the larger companies. Still, they managed to produce some interesting superhero titles, thanks in part to having the services of such artists as Joe Staton. One such title was E-Man, a character who went against the conventions of the day by being innocent and simple in his motivations. The comic didn't take itself too seriously (E-Man's girlfriend is a stipper named Nova Kane!), and Joe Staton'sd art, with its slight trace of goofiness, fits the character perfectly. After Charleton went under, First Comics revived the series for a few years in the Eighties. The comic is still popular with collectors, over forty years after it first appeared. Here I have E-Man Volume 2, #10, dated January 1984, published by First Comics. It's in near mint condition overall - see scans for condition. This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $3.00 for First Class Mail, and I'll combine and discount shipping costs for multiple winnings. Payment is via PayPal only.
