This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. When Jack Kirby left Marvel Comics at the start of the Seventies and joined DC, it was a very, very big deal. Kirby had been associated exclusively with Marvel for years, and now DC was giving him complete artistic freedom to not only draw, but to create and write any titles he desired! When it was announced that he would take over Jimmy Olson, and mesh that title with three new ones to form some sort of epic storyline, excitment was off the charts. Thus were born "The Forever People," "The New Gods," and "Mr. Miracle." The titles were colorful, wild, over the top and quite original. Pity they only lasted a few years... Here I have Jimmy Olsen #137, dated April 1971! It's in fine condition - see scans for condition. This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $3.00 for First Class Mail, and I'll combine and discount shipping costs for multiple winnings. Payment is via PayPal only.
