This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. Marvel reached its peak of popularity and creativity during the Sixties and early Seventies. In the Seventies, Marvel made a decision to expand their universe of characters. They took note of the "kung fu" phenomenon sweeping the country in the early Seventies, and they created two characters with a lasting impact on the Marvel Universe. One was Iron Fist, and the other was Shang-Chi, the Master of Kung Fu. Shang-Chi was none other than the son of the legendary villain Fu Manchu, but he chose a path opposite to the one followed by his larger than life father. The title featured spectacular art during its run, by such notables as Paul Gulacy, Mike Zeck and Gene Day, as well as complex and thoughtful storylines by Doug Moench. Overall, this is considered to be one of the key Marvel series of the Seventies. Here I have Master of Kung Fu #44, dated September 1976! It's in fine to very fine condition - see scans for condition. This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $3.00 for First Class Mail, and I'll combine and discount shipping costs for multiple winnings. Payment is via PayPal only.
