An important Sevres art nouveau porcelain vase depicting children putti playing in pate-sur-pate technique.

While the present vase bears no artists’ monograms to identify the decorators, comparison of the elaborate design on the vases by Taxile Doat and Suzanne-Estelle Apoil suggest these artists as possible authors. Being manufactured in 1895, this vase is a great example of an early art nouveau style.
