We have here at auction a 1907 theater orchestra arrangement of the accompaniment for voice, solo cornet, or solo trombone the famous song I LOVE YOU TRULY by Carrie Jacobs-Bond, as scored by Harry L. Alford. This is an original set of parts for FULL Orchestra, which includes 1st violin, 2nd violin, viola, 'cello, bass, flute, clarinet, 1st cornet, 2nd cornet, trombone, drums, and piano/conductor, plus oboe, 2nd clarinet, bassoon, and French horns (2). 

This arrangement is in good condition (slightly wrinkled paper); it was published by Arnett-Delonais of Chicsgo. See photo(s) above. The item is a duplicate from the orchestra library of the historic Lyceum Theatre of Ithaca, NY, which opened in 1893 and was a major "road house" for vaudeville and musical comedy until the mid-20s. 

This is a beautiful arrangement of one of the world's most popular songs. I recorded the two other Alford/Jacobs-Bond songs from this 1907 set with the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra on the album Minding the Score for New World Records. We should have done this one too!
