Rare & Vintage 1920s Hotel Astor NY Ceramic Matchbox Holder & Ashtray with the Hotel Crest, made most probably by Royal Schwarzburg in Germany.

Their stamp is not there but is identical to the other one that I have listed which shows the makers mark.

Pre-owned but still in excellent condition for the age. No chips and no cracks.

Has some fading if the gold trim.

The hotel was located in Times Square, it operated from 1904 to 1967.

Measures 5.75" diameter at the base x 4.5" tall.
