This listing is for the diary inside the wallet shown.  Stamped inside flap is E. Y. CARTER.   We researched to be from somewhere in New York.

1.   MOST of the diary is empty.
2.   Most of the entries are lists of names (maybe about 10 pages.
3.   One or two diary entries otherwise.

AND
The wallet is nice with some antique wear.   Measures approx 7.5"x3.5" when closed.   You can see there are slots for coins and paper money too!  The accordion pouch on the bottom is split on one side.   Could be repaired by inside.   Nice pocket on the top with light antique wear.   The outside black leter is scuffed and could be polished to restore.    The strap to secure this wallet when closed is missing.   You can see where it was previously attached on the back of the wallet.

Excellent original early family and/or town genealogy, history, antique, collectible heirloom and/or ephemera.
