Vintage 1930's Burley Winter Art Pottery Mottled Rose & Gray Double Handled Vase #60
Burley Winter Pottery was established in Crooksville Ohio in 1872.  In 1932 Stoin M. Stoin joined the company and began to make art pottery.  His matte glazes are "Blended Art" with a base color and an over color which produces the beautiful mottled look.  This vase has a rose base color and a blue over color with the blue looking almost gray.  The vase is double handled and is an organic Arts and Crafts design.  It is marked with #60.  The vase will showcase flowers or be a stand out display piece.

The vase is in very good vintage condition.  Colors are vibrant.  No cracks.  There is an old chip on the interior of the rim.  There are two indents where the glaze did not adhere as well as several black marks and one light scratch.  See pictures for details.
