The new z-5500 replacement control pod black edition, It features in full control on the volume of front, center, surround speakers and the bass. It is also 2.1/5.1 self-adaptive, which means you can use either a 5.1 sound card or just any regular 2.1 sound device to power it up. You can get the black control pod at a much lower cost compared to the original control pod.

This cable allows your 5.1 channel speakers work in Stereox2 mode (Just like the stereox2 mode in your original control pod), all satellite speakers (surround and center) as well as subwoofer will work! You still get all the 505w RMS power of your entire system! The power of the speakers and subwoofer will at its max power when you turn the volume dial all the way up. Have a set of Logitech Z 5500 Speakers with no control pod? Well, here is a solution you can make use of that set of speakers. No need to buy a control pod for $$$ since you have this cable!
  • This is a customize made ~10 feet db-15 connector to 3.5mm minijack cable that allows you to connect your Logitech Z-5500 without a control pod!! The 3.5mm minijack is the same as a normal headphone jack that you have so it will be compatible with your MP3 devices or computer sound card port.
  • High quality shielded cables are used in making this custom bypass cable so the EFI/RFI is reduced to minimal level. A very satisfactory result is achieved thanks to the quality workmanship in making and testing this cable.
  • This cable will only work with the newer spring clip version of Z-5500 shown in the picture below (incompatible with the RCA version).



  • Please note this cable works on systems with Post-636 PID numbers. That is, any PID number that is equal or greater than R636. Please also note that Logitech has rolled over their PID number some time ago, so if your system is purchased new in the recent 1 or 2 years with a small PID number, e.g. R001-R200, this cable also works.
  • How to check your PID number: Look at the bottom of your speakers or subwoofer for a small white sticker with a 3 digit number following an 'R' on it.******

Domestic shipping will be handled by USPS First Class. It usually takes 2-3 business days to be delivered.

For international buyers, two options are available:

Option 1: USPS First Class International: Shipping charge is lower, but delivery time varies from 1 week to 1 month in different countries. Tracking info won't be updated once the packages goes outside USA

Option 2: USPS Priority: Shipping charge is higher, but delivery time is significantly shorter and you can track the package.
