This is a custom made 12 feet LOGITECH Z-5500 Z5500 Control pod 5.1 channel bypass cable.
It has 3 minijack with volume controls on each jack! The volume controls will allow each channel level to be adjusted with more flexibility!
This unit is compatible with z-5500 systems with post636 PIDs!!! (PID between R001-R200 and R636-R999)
How to check your PID number:
Look at the bottom of your speakers or subwoofer for a small white sticker with a 3 digit number following an 'R' on it.
If your PID has more than 3 digits and looks like this "1004886-0501R", it falls in the pre636 category.

- This is a customize made ~10 feet db-15 connector to 5.1 channels direct stereo jacks cable that allows you to connect your Logitech Z-5500 without a control pod!!!
- High quality shielded cables are used in making this custom bypass cable so the EFI/RFI is reduced to minimal level. (You can hardly tell there's any noise even with your ears attached to the speakers or the subwoofer in a normal living room environment) Read my feedbacks to get an idea.
- This cable will only work with the newer spring clip version of Z-5500 shown in the picture below (incompatible with the RCA version).
- Please note this cable works on systems with Post-636 PID numbers. That is, any PID number that is equal or greater than R636. Please also note that Logitech has rolled over their PID number some time ago, so if your system is purchased new in the recent 1 or 2 years with a small PID number, e.g. R001-R200, this cable also works.

How to connect your sound source with your speakers using this cable: The three minijacks goes into the three ports on your 5.1 channel sound card shown in the following pic.
- To take full advantage of 5.1 surround sound, you should enable CMSS 3D and Bass Redirection or Bass Management features on your sound card. Depending on your sound card, the software interfaces might differ, but there will be an option for you to enable subwoofer and adjust it. Some sample interfaces are shown in the pictures below. Sound effect (such as movies, music, theater etc.) can totally be adjusted with more flexibility using sound card software instead of the Z-5500 control pod (you get better results adjusting by software).

Domestic shipping will be handled by USPS First Class. It usually takes 2-3 business days to be delivered.
For international buyers, two options are available:
Option 1: USPS First Class International: Shipping charge is lower, but delivery time varies from 1 week to 1 month in different countries. Tracking info won't be updated once the packages goes outside USA
Option 2: USPS Priority: Shipping charge is higher, but delivery time is significantly shorter and you can track the package.
