A very pretty, gold coloured metal pin badge with text MB Minerva Boskovice, advertising the firm of that name who have been producing sewing machines since 1881. The badge face is 1.4cm high and has a long, stick pin style fastener to the rear.

The company was formed in 1881 and named after the Roman Goddess Minerva
In 1938 the company moved to a purpose built factory in Boskovice and in the 1950's the company started to produce large scale machines for industrial use. By 1968 all production was focused on the industrial machine market and the household market was transferred to Lada.
