How to measure your head
Wrap a measuring tape around head, 1.5 cm (5/8 in.) above eyebrows and ears.
If you don't have a tape measure, use a string and then measure the string. Read the measurement in centimetres or inches,
add 1 cm or 0.4 inch to the measurement,
and compare with the size chart.
If a result in between 2 sizes, go to the larger size.

        An Ushanka (also known as Trapper hat, Bomber hat, Shapka, Chapka etc.) is a traditional, yet stylish, Russian winter hat with ear flaps, which is extremely warm to handle the frigid Russian winters. It has ear flaps, which can be folded up and tied at the top of the hat, or tied at the chin. Wearing ear flaps down protects ears, bottom of the chin, nape and top of the back of the neck from the cold. The word ushanka translates from Russian as "with ears".
