The Penn Slammer reels are very tough, full metal body spinning reels that can outfight the meanest fish. Since their introduction the Penn Slammer series has become the spinning reel of choice for saltwater fishing’s most critical anglers. Thanks to the triple supported system in spool alignment these reels can cope with the immense pressures exerted on the shaft and drag systems. A single, large HT100™ drag washer has also been located under the spool to provide the ultimate in fixed spool stopping power. Penn Slammer reels are a great choice for saltwater resistant spinning.
