I have been asked by most of those who bought the board from us about how to mount it and do I have a connection system. Well, here it is.

We found just the perfect box and cable with connectors.
The box is a tight fit for the ID-O-MATIC 2 board and requires no other mounting. No need to glue or screw the board in, the box keeps the board snugly contained. To program your controller, just remove two screws and slide out one end panel, do your programming and slide the panel back in and tighten up the screws.
Drill one 1/4" hole in the other end panel where you want the supplied cable that you will attach to the terminal strip on the board to exit

 The 8 conductor cable is 3 feet long and has male connectors at each end. 
Here's how to use it.
Cut the cable at any point you wish (you can choose the lengths you want between your radios or repeater and the length that goes to the box with your controller. Let's say you choose a 1 foot cable from the ID-O-MATIC II box and 1 foot going to the repeater (discard the extra 1 foot). Wire the cable wire end to the ID-O-MATIC. Wire the other cable end to the repeater. Now connect the two 8 pin connectors using the supplied female-female junction adapter.

The real charm of this system is the simplicity and versatility.
The ID-O-MATIC repeater controller is so inexpensive, many users buy more than one and program them differently (different messages, timing, callsigns, etc). The box fits perfectly and with this connector system, it is easy to remove and replace the controller with your spares by simply unplugging one and plugging in the other!
