HPR 10 is a premium quality, fully synthetic, SAE 10W-50 engine oil for optimum performance. It uses a combination of the latest additive technology and a low shear rate viscosity modifier, to ensure additional protection against wear, corrosion, oil oxidation, piston deposits and sludge.

Exceeds the latest European ACEA A3/B4 and API SN/CF requirements, as well as many manufacturers specifications. It can also be used where previous API specifications SM (2004-10), SL (2001-04), SJ are recommended.

HPR 10 features the Penrite Extra Ten in the oils SAE rating. The Extra 10 helps protect your engine by using an oil that has a higher viscosity at operating temperature than what is normally specified, thus providing better protection and reducing engine wear in all driving conditions.

HPR 10 is designed for use in the latest types of petrol engines including conventional, multi-cam, multi-valve, turbocharged and supercharged engines (including the new generation of high output V8 and V10 engines) from all over the world.

It is also recommended for engines equipped with variable valve timing. Specific examples include the VT-VY Commodore, Range Rover, Nissan, Chrysler and Jeep petrol engines, Honda VTEC engines, Toyota VVT-i engines and other vehicles that specify the use of SAE 10W-40 or 10W-50 oils in the owners handbook.

HPR 10 can also be used where SAE 10W-40 or 15W-40 oils are specified.
