Vintage items are very old and are subject to imperfections due to age. My have been fingered touched by hands have dust dirt or a fiber that settled upon it and may have developed an old odor over time period. I advise special care with old items as they may be more fragile. Old metal could have discoloring or oxidation due to age. Fabric may not be as brilliant as today. Vintage sizes ran much smaller and fit tighter years ago. Old articles have issues and so one may not want to buy vintage if these things may be an issue.
