Now you can charge and test C and D cells with your BT-C2000
or BM200 charger.
For
so long I have wanted to test C and D NiMH cells. Now a plug and play
solution. The Opus BT-C2000, BT-C2400, BT-C3400, MH-C9000 chargers will charge and test high capacity
cells up to 20,000 mAh. Using these
C or D to AA cell adapters you can now test your high capacity C and D
NiMH cells. Simpley insert the adapters into slots 1 and 4. Put in your
batteries to test. Select the Charge/Test function with appropriate
current selections. The rest is automatic. At the end of the test the
charger will report tested capacity of that cell. Group your batteries
by tested capacity to ensure you will get the performance you expect
from your batteries in the field. Find out if a cell is no longer
useable. Cycle the cell several times to return it to full capacity.
You have those options with these battery adapters.
The adapter will fit
other chargers with a test function like the La
Crosse BC-700, BC-900, BC-9009, BC-1000, Technoline BC-700 and
AccuPower IQ328 however these chargers have firmware limitations that do
not allow the testing of high capacity cells. The adapters can
not be used to test or charge high capacity C and D cells in those
chargers. The adapters will fit many other AA NiMH battery chargers but may be restricted by the limitations of the charger to charge C & D cells.
