This is a new (boxed) Placid Audio CopperPhone Mini dynamic cardioid microphone. As you must know it has a very unusual frequency response! This is the perfect "effect" microphone for Studio and Live use. Like its bigger brother the "Mini" makes it easy to achieve AM radio/LoFi sounds without having to use drastic EQ curves (usually triggering feedback). Originally designed as a Harmonica mic .

It does have a similar nostalgic character to the sound because it operates within a limited bandwidth.
