This striking print marries the interest in antique tin toy robots, the passion for bold woodcut technique, and the ongoing desire to grow the 'Robutt™' Series into a concept that eventually becomes known worldwide in a variety of mediums. Another print offered entitled '13 Robutts™,' has been associated with artist and designer Ken Bastar since 2004 in print and on the web, and now I'm expanding the offerings that use this clever theme.

Designed in the style of a 4 color edition wood block print (woodcut print) as to the resulting image on the sheet, this is instead classified as a Tribute Print. I still enjoy transferring the design in reverse directly to the wood block, carefully cutting and deftly gouging out the non-printing areas, rolling on ink, and burnishing or pressing the resulting image into reality. But this print wasn't produced in that traditional manner for this creation this time.

This offering is a very high-quality Giclée print, produced on 9 mil thick matte stock, with a bright smooth finish. This print employs Epson UltraChrome K3 ink, which has improved print permanence characteristics that provide lightfastness ratings of up to 108 years for color, and beyond 200 years for black and white output. The print is just beautifully produced! Absolutely no 7.5 or even thinner 5 mil papers are employed by us, as many others offer with their prints. 

'Robutt™' is strictly limited to an edition of 1200 Signed and Numbered prints—worldwide.

Depending upon final size, Prints (12 x 16 or smaller) are shipped carefully protected by a stiff cardboard backer and in a clear acetate archival sleeve, coming to you in a sturdy white cardboard, self-seal stay-flat mailing envelope. Larger Prints (those above 12 x 16) are protected by a tissue sheet, carefully rolled together with the paper grain, and inserted into a 4" dia. heavy-duty mailing tube with plastic end caps.

Because it is personally subjective in nature, and clearly visible for ownership determination before the purchase in my listings, the policy is to Replace, not Refund, Prints and other artwork, but only under limited circumstances.

Please note that buyer must contact me within one week (7 days) of when prints are marked 'Shipped' on eBay, if you receive a damaged print. Replacement of damaged prints will be forthcoming, but only if I'm notified within this time frame, and requires buyer to pay for the return of any damaged prints in the same protective mailer in which it was received (simply change the label).

Prints are generally shown smaller and only in a low 72 ppi resolution to discourage copying attempts. The actual print you'll receive, however, is at least 300 ppi, and is just beautiful!

Prints are not matted and are unframed, of course. The image of framed and matted prints on the wall is only to suggest how appealing these prints can be in a typical home or office décor scenario.
