Legends "Manhattan" Backbore:  Our tightest backbore. The Manhattan has great focus and nice resistance. It is specifically geared for the needs of players on those extended performances and all night gigs. It has been described by our customers as being similar in feel to a Warburton New York NY or Q backbore. It's not a copy of any Warburton backbore, but it has a similar blow. The shank is based upon a #5 sleeve to make sure all horns will receive it properly. This backbore comes in our lightweight (less efficient for a slightly tighter feel) and heavyweight (more efficient for a slightly more open feel) styles. It has the Legends enhanced #27 throat. 

Legends "T" Backbore:  This backbore has been described as having a lot of sizzle and focus.  It is similar in feel to a Warburton #4 to #5.  IT IS NOT A COPY of these pieces, just merely similar feel of blow.  The shank has been created based upon a #5 sleeve to make sure all horns will receive it.  This piece comes standard with the Legends enhanced #27 throat.  This backbore comes in our lightweight and heavyweight styles.  The lightweight isn't as efficient, so the blow is a little tighter or more like the #4 referenced above.  The heavyweight style (sold in the Legends Brass Ebay Store) is more efficient and blows more like the #5 referenced above.  

Legends "LA" Backbore:  Our commercial backbore, perfect for studio musicians and those who want to be!  Our customers describe this backbore's sound as having great sizzle and core. Similar in feel to a Warburton NY or Qm.  This backbore IS NOT A COPY of these pieces, just merely similar feel of blow.  This piece comes standard with the Legends enhanced #27 throat. The shank has been created based upon a #5 sleeve to make sure all horns will receive it. This backbore comes in our lightweight or heavyweight styles.  The lightweight isn't as efficient, so the blow is a little tighter or more like the NY & Qm referenced above.  The heavyweight style (sold in the Legends Brass Ebay Store) is more efficient and blows slightly more open than the above referenced models. 

Legends "Vegas" Backbore:  More open than the LA, but tighter than the S.  Our customers find that this backbore has a nice blend of sizzle and core.  Similar in feel to a Warburton #5.  IT IS NOT A COPY of this piece, just merely similar feel of blow.  The shank has been created based upon a #5 sleeve to make sure all horns will receive it.  This piece comes standard with the Legends enhanced #27 throat.  This backbore comes in our lightweight and heavyweight styles.  The lightweight isn't as efficient, so the blow is a little tighter; the heavyweight (sold in the Legends Brass Ebay Store) is more efficient and the blow a little more open.

Legends "CHICAGO" Backbore:  Our most open backbore.  Our customers describe this backbore's sound as dark, with a spread sound.  Similar in feel to a Warburton #8 to #9.  IT IS NOT A COPY of these pieces, just merely similar feel of blow.  This piece comes standard with the Legends enhanced #27 throat.  The shank has been created based upon a #5 sleeve to make sure all horns will receive it. This backbore comes in our lightweight or heavyweight styles.  The lightweight isn't as efficient, so the blow is a little tighter or more like the #8 referenced above.  The heavyweight style (sold in the Legends Brass Ebay Store) is more efficient and blows more like the #9 referenced above.  

Gold Plating

Legends Brass backbores can be gold plated for an additional charge. The charge is approximately $50, but fluctuates slightly with the market value of gold. Contact seller for an exact quote.

Shipping Information

Legends Brass prides itself on quick shipping. In-stock orders are generally shipped within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Legends Brass ships worldwide via USPS Priority and USPS International Priority Mail. Shipping charges are determined by Ebay. Most orders will be shipped in a USPS small flat rate box. All tariff and customs charges are the buyer's responsibility. Payment by Paypal is preferred for CONUS and is required for international shipping. Payment must be received immediately, and orders can only be shipped to confirmed Paypal addresses.

Return Policy

This item can be returned. The item must be in new condition (no exceptions). The buyer must pay return shipping plus a $25 restocking fee. Return shipping must be by USPS Priority or USPS International Priority Mail. You will receive a refund (price paid for the item minus restocking fee) within 48 hours of delivery of the returned item, if the item is confirmed to be in satisfactory condition.
