These piston rings are designed to reduce oil blow by of the Turbine (rear) seal and are made to withstand any extreme temperatures created by your turbocharger. The design, having a stepped end, ensures that a total seal is given when fitted as the steps overlap, reducing possible blow by past the seal.

PLEASE NOTE: to ensure correct workings, the piston ring groove of the Turbine shaft must be free from wear or damage, as must the bearing housing bore and step. Fitting this piston ring in a worn Turbocharger will NOT cure oil leaks.
