Near fine condition antique book! Beautiful full leather binding with lavish gilt lettering and page edges gilded on all sides. The outside edge of the covers are sculpted into a rounded shape. Very, very light
shelf wear, but nearly perfect, and in amazing condition for age. Leather is fully intact. Binding is tight and square, with clean white pages; however, the first signature is lightly shaken. Each page has an elaborately illustrated border, and there are a few full-page illustrations with tissue guards. Written entirely in French, this is a fantastic old Missel!
