2014 Calvin Coolidge Presidential Dollars 2-coin Set P&D Mint Marks Uncirculated Mint State Coins

Description

This set features two Calvin Coolidge 2014 Presidential $1 Coins minted at the United States Mint at Philadelphia and at the United States Mint at Denver.  These coins have a circulating finish but have never been placed into circulation.

Each mint state coin has a common reverse (tails) featuring a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty. These 2014 coins feature large, dramatic artwork, as well as edge-incused inscriptions of the year of minting or issuance, E PLURIBUS UNUM and the mint mark. IN GOD WE TRUST appears on the face of the coin.

The obverse (heads) side of these coins features an image of Calvin Coolidge with the inscriptions CALVIN COOLIDGE, IN GOD WE TRUST, 30th PRESIDENT and 1923 - 1929.

These coins have been taken from special numismatic rolls and placed in a Mount Rushmore themed coin case, as shown in the accompanying photos.  The case may be opened for closer viewing of the coins.

Program

In 2005, President Bush signed the Presidential $1 Coin Act of 2005 authorizing the United States Mint to strike $1 coins honoring America’s Presidents in the order in which they served.  This coin, the 32nd in the Presidential $1 Coin Program, honors President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Photos: When a listing offers multiples of the same coin, one coin is picked at random and photographed.  Since all coins offered in that listing are essentially identical, the coin photographed is representative of all coins offered.

Surface areas that appear black on some proof coin photos are actually highly polished, mirror-bright metal reflecting the color of the camera. We often include proof coin photos with the coin slightly tilted to better depict the mirror bright surfaces.  However, tilting the coin may result in one side being slightly out of focus.  Please review all of the photos provided to obtain the best understanding of the coin's actual appearance.

Our goal is to provide clear, high definition photos that accurately represent the coin(s) offered in each of our eBay listings.  Whenever possible, we use actual photos of our coins, rather than just stock artwork from the Mint.  We frequently update and upgrade the photos that appear with our listings, using improved cameras and lenses and better lighting.  We will honor your requests for additional photos as quickly as our schedule permits.
