What light sources work best for glow powder? You will get the best effect from light sources high in UV rays. These include natural sunlight, black lights, fluorescent, and halogen lights. Typical household light produce very low amounts of UV light and will take longer to charge the powder.

What can you add glow powder too? Well any craft project can work. The powder can be added to resins, plastics, glues, Candles (both gel or wax), ceramics, ceramic glaze, fabric, paint, nail polish, caulking, glass, rubber, etc. For best results use a medium that is as transparent as possible and does not contain any UV filters.

How much powder should I use? Every application is different. On average you would use 10-50% powder to medium by weight. The more you use the better the glow effect.

Is the powder water soluble? No it is not. If you added it to a liquid it would still glow but would just sink to the bottom.

How long will the glow powder last? In general the powder has about a 10 year life span and can be charged infinite times during this.

Is glow powder safe to use? Glow powder is free of any heavy metals or radioactive substances, however it is recommended that you use a dust mask when handling. Inhalation may lead to irritation of the nose, throat, or eyes.
