During autumn, the trees are blessed with magnificent bright red leaves
Grows 3-4 feet within a bonsai pot or around 12 feet after 10 years within open ground
Fully frost hardy. Protect very young plants and seedlings from hard frosts initially
The trees are easy to keep small (if desired) with pruning
Makes an excellent bonsai tree as the roots are very shallow and it is easily dwarfed
