Well collectors this is a outstanding and historical image of a identified young man with his dog holding what appears to be a early Markham BB Gun.  The boys name is Earl P. Trinkhaus of Plymouth Michigan.  He was born in `1890 and died in 1985.  He appears to be about 10 years old which dates this photograph to around 1900.  The photograph was taken by Edwin P. Baker who was a cousin of Henry W. Baker then president of the Daisy company in Plymouth. The question is? Why would the cousin of  Henry Baker be using a Markham BB gun in this photograph?  Look close at this image.. Can you identify the model or variation.  Markham or Daisy ? .
