This Brand New 2.4 Ratio Heavy Duty Escort MK2 RHD short stem steering rack has been manufactured to very high `OEM` quality and uses All New Components.
This rack is supplied complete with heavy duty steel clamps and polyurethane bushes. Tie rods are metric M14 x 2.The strongest steering racks ever manufactured for the RWD escort. NOTE This rack is 10mm wider track each side over the standard rack dimensions.

A 'quick rack' reduces lock to lock movement thereby giving more sensitive and responsive steering at high speeds avoiding the necessity to 'cross hands' on all but the tightest bends.
This steering rack will also suit the MK1 Escort if you change the track rod ends to MK2. The only difference between a MK1 Escort and MK2 Escort steering rack is the threads on the end. The MK2 uses the later metric M14 thread.
