This is a 8 ct extremely brilliant marquise stone mounted in solid sterling silver with extra thick finish of rhodium so that the silver will not tarnish and have a platinum look. The bale can accommodate larger chains. The opening is 6mm by 5mm. This pendant looks ten times better than the picture or your money back. These pendants are brand new, made over 25 years ago and will remain brilliant for 100's of years. They retailed for $600.00 plus in the 1980's. My parents made them for TV shows and movies.
