Audio is provided via 2 x phono plugs for monitors supporting stereo sound.  If your monitor has a mono input, we recommend the use of our phono adapter plug.

This cable is passive so works with all sync types:  composite sync, c-sync or sync-over-luma.  Whatever the signal type is passed through to the monitor directly - compatibility with particular systems is down to whether the monitor or equipment supports that sync type.

This adapter is only suitable for devices with an RGB output, used in conjunction with a suitable RGB cable.  RGB cables are available from our eBay store.

Computers unsuitable for this device are those that have only a composite video output, such as:

• Commodore 64
• Any device using a composite video cable

• Connector A:  21 pin Scart female socket
• Connector B:  4 x Phono to BNC plugs with gold pins (red, green & blue)
• Connector C:  2 x Phono plugs (red & white)
• 45cm (approx) cable length
• Oxygen-free copper cable - each signal is individually screened & grounded
