Sheesham Wood Trinket Box with Pentagram Inlay

These wonderful wood boxes are individually hand-finished. Hinged at the back, they can be used for storing many items; perfect for protecting tarot cards (even the larger packs) jewellery and keepsakes. The Sheesham wood gives each box a different wood grain pattern, so every one will be unique, on the lid of each box is an inset pentagram enclosed in a circle. This would make a lovely gift for anyone.

Indian Rosewood, or sheesham wood as it is more commonly known, is a deciduous rosewood tree that is native to the Indian Sub-continent and Southern Iran. Though colour varies depending on the species, all rosewoods are strong, heavy and highly durable. The trees grow for as long as twenty two years, and up to as much as thirty meters in height; the diameter of the trees can be as wide as one and a half meters. The sheesham tree is known for its density, strength, natural rich grains, and longevity - perfect for making your beautiful box.

Advisory Note:

Clean your sheesham wood with a damp cloth.

Remember to wipe the surfaces in the direction of the grain.

Use beeswax every three months to retain the sheen. Apply beeswax with a soft cloth, in the direction of the grain, and then buff with soft and lint-free cloth.

Refrain from using any silicone based polishes, sprays and waxes.
