Mink oil by Think Mink is our commercial grade of mink oil. This oil is 100% pure mink oil and processed without chemicals. It is the perfect ingredient to soften leather: boots, saddles, tack, purses, or any leather goods that need protection, or have dried out over time.
Mink oil has the highest known absorption rate into skin of any known oil, making it the perfect ingredient for improving homemade soaps & shampoo, vitalizing hair care products, and where ever skin needs to be nourished, mink oil can help.
Our commercial grade has a very slight musky fragrance, but has the same beneficial properties as the scent-free line of mink oil for skin care. Mink oil by Think Mink is a cost effective alternative to the scent-free cosmetic grade of mink oil, and can be used directly on the skin, (if the musky fragrance doesn't bother you). For facial care we recommend our mink oil that is completely scent free.
Mink oil has the highest absorption rate of any natural oil, oil of mink will penetrate the pores and truly nourish the leather (including human). Due to the penetration power of mink oil, it can be used as a catalyst to assist other ingredients to penetrate the pores of the leather.
