iPod Integration Kit

The Mercedes-Benz iPod Integration Kit allows control of the Apple iPod through the steering Wheel-mounted control buttons. Song information is displayed in instrument cluster. Apple iPod is not included in this kit. iPod Integration Kit is Only compatible with iPod models with Standardized dock connector (not compatible with iPod Shuffle or Gen 1 iPods). Controls on iPod are not available when connected to vehicle. This kit may require vehicle coding to activate steering Wheel-mounted control buttons and it is recommended it be installed by an MBUSA-approved repair facility. MBUSA does not provide with this kit any means to secure iPod in glove box-this is the sole responsibility of the customer. MBUSA will not be liable for any damage caused by or to an unsecured iPod.

Kit to integrate Apple iPod or control with vehicle controls & audio system with Soundsystem. iPod plugs into cable located in glove box. Information is displayed through the instrument cluster display when in AUDIO Mode. iPod is controlled through steering wheel buttons and audio plays through vehicle audio system in AUX mode (AUX Mode must be activated). iPod will charge when key is on. 

Note: MBUSA does not provide with this kit means to secure iPod in glove box. iPod is not included.
