Iron On Instructions:
All patches can be ironed on or sewed on to cloth/fabric
These are a guide and all instructions are usually on the item itself
Step 1: Set iron to hottest temperature setting (DO NOT USE STEAM DURING APPLICATION)
Step 2: Place applique or embroidered patch in desired position and place a pressing cloth (i.e. handkerchief, sheet or pillowcase fabric) over top
Step 3: Press the iron straight down for 35-45 seconds with as much constant pressure as possible (DO NOT GO BACK & FORTH)
Step 4: Turn the garment inside-out and repeat steps 2 & 3
Step 5: Allow the appliqué or embroidered patch to cool
Warning: If your designs are delicate (those containing beads or sequins or made of sensitive fabrics like vinyl) or thick like puffy designs, the heat must be applied from the back of the appliqué. Place appliqué on garment and cover with protective cloth. Apple heat for 5-7 seconds to hold design in place. Turn over and heat from back for 20-25 seconds.
All sizes are approximate
Check fabric to be sure it can tolerate the required heat. If necessary, reduce heat and extend dwell time. You may need to experiment until you find the ideal combination of time.
