1910, first edition, complete in four volumes. Elephant Folio: 17.5" tall!
Illustrated with gorgeous full page steel plate engravings. Most are of buildings, but many show close up details and ornament. Bound in three quarter leather; each with five raised bands, hand tooled gilt titles, gilt top edge, and marbled end papers. Bindings signed by the bookbinder on the first blank. Bindings have some marks on the spine leather and light rubbing on spine heads; leather is fully intact and free of any cracks or splits; first volume has a dampstain on the bottom edge of title page, contents and first plate; remaining text and plates are all clean and quite rich.
