Massimo Vitali was born in Como, Italy, in 1944.  He moved to London after high school, where he studied Photography at the London College of Printing. "Landscapes with Figures" is a limited edition portfolio, printed by Steidl for Brancolini Grimaldi. For the first and only time, Vitali has made a series of 52 Offset prints of his most significant and captivating photographs. The portfolio includes many of Vitali's images which are now sold out (like Venice Piazza San Marco, the Picnic at the Jardin de Luxembourg, the Rosignano and Viareggio beach scenes).  The portfolio is a beautiful collector's piece, in a limited edItion of 120 + 20 APs.  Each edition is a boxed set of 52 Offset prints on 300g Consort Royale paper and each print is 70 x 90 cm.  The back of each print includes a BRANCOLINI GRIMALDI stamp with the hand-written number of the print in the sequence of 52.
