Guitar neck is surrounded on all sides by METAL (steel not aluminum).
Bolt it to the wall studs or use butterfly clasps to secure it to the drywall or hilti it into concrete.
Secure it to the wall to give you the most confidence in keeping your guitar safe and sound.
If you hang your guitar with it your guitar gently rests atop soft rubber.
The Rubber I use to rest your headstock on is Silicon based and does not affect the finish of nitrocellulose painted guitars
If you don't hang your guitar with it just easily remove the rubberstrips and tuck it behind the fretboard.
The security keylock mechanism pictured by itself is INCLUDED .
