This is a set of STRC Tamiya CR01 Alum Threaded Shock Conversion Kit with Aluminum Retainers (STT50950B).

These are new and have never been installed or used.

Tamiya CR01 Threaded Shock Conversion kits w/retainers (4) Blue

This precision CNC machined shock coversion kit replaces the CR01 kit complex cantilever system. Each kit includes:

4 threaded CNC machined aluminum shock bodies
4 threaded CNC machined shock pre-load colors (w/o-ring installed)
4 CNC machined aluminum lower shock spring retainer

This kit is design to work with the stock upper and lower shock cap, and all the shock internals (pistons, shock shafts, and lower shock mount) The plastic shock cap over aluminum shock body have shown to provide the tightest fit with the best seal.

This kit can be installed two ways:

As a mono-shock next to the suspended shock spring assembly (without using the included spring retainers and threaded collars)

or

You can put on the kit spring on this assembly and replace the entire CR01 stock suspension system with just a single shock at each corner.

The threaded shock body allows for small incremental shock pre-load adjustments, while the threaded collars features an O-ring inside that will hold your adjustment on the threaded shock body.
