16" Antique Kestner #211 JDK c1910 Character "Sammy" Baby Doll c.1910

A happy cuddlier! This is an antique German Kestner 211 baby known as "Sammy" with original bent limb baby body with the Kestner curved arm and turned up toe. He has blue sleep eyes and open mouth with two bottom teeth and hint of tongue.
He has a dark blond antique mohair baby wig over Kestner plaster pate, is marked on the back of his head is "Made in Germany JDK 211" On either side of that marking is an H on one side and a 12 on the other.

Well dressed with booties, diaper and undershirt. Over that he has a nice warm coat and matching bonnet. No damage and no repairs. c.1910
