The engraving measures approximately 9 1/2 x 14 1/4 (including boarder areas) and is a folding plate. Plate has later backing/repair with still old paper (probably 19th century).
The plate is discolored with staining and wear, with some chipping and tearing to the pages at edges. The page has some creases where it was folded within the book when originally bound. This plate is one in a series that we will be offering from the same book. Plate is in fair condition even with some staining. Still, this is an impressive, detailed engraving that, when framed, will look nice.
Unfortunately when I purchased this volume it was missing numerous plates and pages - thus the sale of individual plates. If interested in any of the text from the book please let me know.
Please note that while I have included a copy of the Inside Cover, the Title Page and first two pages of the book (4 pages in total), they are not included in the sale, as they are reference pieces to determine authenticity for several other plates from the same book.
